Do they make double wide Bridge Hammocks? If not some should make one.

Actually it was on the news the other day that 40% of couples sleep alone because they sleep better that way. You'll find a middle way.

I'm 62 years old and have been fulltime for 2 years now so was at the same point the two of you are now. We have always had problems with mattresses over our 39 years together. Everything from 3 different types of water beds, high end innerspring, 100% latex, select comfort air, tempapedic and memory foam. Then I found hammocks, my wife actually finds better sleep on a sofa. Though neither of us will admit to snoring it must happen and a good nights sleep gets to be more important then suffering together in a bed. I'm currently summering in Maine and sleeping in the hammock outside since I can't hang the hammock in the RV. She claims to be able to hear me snoring in the hammock and she's in the RV! After 39 years of marriage we have found that there are many other places we can be together other than a bed. Oh, she has tried hammocks on a number of occasions but doesn't seem to be able find the same pleasure that I do in a hammock.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.

My better half works shifts, when she is rotated onto working overnight I hang all night, if she is home at 2am I will hang from 10pm then move to our bed when she gets home.

Except sometimes I won't wake up and she doesn't like to wake me so I hang all night!

It has felt like October out here for the past couple of weeks. Just weird weather all the way around. Autumn temps and spring downpours; so strange.

Anyway, the nip in the air has put the Genuine Draft back in my hammock. I've got some ridiculous sized thick-cord Mayan hanging right now and I keep going to sleep alone. I can literally fold the excess fabric over top of me about 1.5 times. Somehow, I found I had company when the alarm went off this morning. Not complaining at all. In fact at my age, just go ahead and consider it bragging.

    No separation issues here.

Cannibal -- is the 'thick cord' you have the one that can be found online, and what would you guess the width to be? I ask 'cause even though the one we have is comfy, it's using very thin, coated cotton cords and we end up waking up looking like fish XD

This is the 'thick cord' one I was originally looking at online, and all the ones called 'thick cord' seem to be from the same people: http://www.etsy.com/listing/12704951...?ref=related-1

but it's only 7'-6" wide and I don't know if that would work -- the 10+' wide one we have now is perfect as for width... I just don't like diamond-face XD

XXL Hand Woven Mocha Stripe Thick String Hammock

Specs say it is 9' wide. I don't think it is 14' overall like the specs say, though. I had to use my chain extensions to attach to my anchor points and get the sag right.

Ah-ha! Yeah, I'd been looking at those too and assumed they were the same, as other sites use pictures from both of those sites to advertise theirs. Didn't notice the completely different dimensions. Thanks!
