Pits can be such great dogs. A friend of mine has a red nose pit he rescued that has changed many peoples perception about pit bulls.

All about their raising. They ARE predisposed to aggressive behavior, but it generally only comes out when they are taught to do so or neglected. Pits can be wonderful dogs and I really wish people's overall attitude towards them would go away. Genuine Draft has had several pit breeds; one had to be put down because of aggressive behavior. Very sad. One of my favorite breeds.

We have the same problem with China who is an Olde Bulldogge. Most loving, willing to please dog I've met in many years. But, people hear "bulldog" and all the sudden I can't sign the lease. Ridiculous!

Over breeding will lead to this "predisposition" faster than almost anything else. Prior to WWII the American Pitbull was one of the most popular, well loved dogs around. The American pitbull enjoyed the love and devotion that get lavished on Labs today. Case in point... The RCA mascot listening to His Master's Voice is an American Pitbull. Tragic change of fortune for a very much maligned breed.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

I made something like this for my niece. Her mother is Chinese and they use baby slings a lot in China. I use a peice of red 1.9oz ripstop and a couple of the SMC descending rings. Worked flawlessly and allows for the grow of the baby, or in your case puppy.
