NoNet On A HH??

Hello to all,

I've got a HH Safari and want to add a pocket for a pad, (i've read to many problems about putting them inside only to have a wrestling match half way through the night), i've also got a nonet from Mosquito Hammocks, double layer and was thinking of fixing it to my Safari the same way as you would an UQ with bungee cord at the end to replace the standard webbing on the nonet and slide the pad into it. The pad i've got is Evazote 6mm. Is there any problems I might encounter?. I know i'll have to cut a slit in the nonet and hem it to get in but can anyone think there's a better way using what I already have?? Weight isn't an issue as I'll only be carrying it on my bike.

Any info would be appreciated.

If I wanted to make this a rather permanent situation I would probably send the HH out to ZQ for a zipper mod and use the HH as a top loader. The maintains the intergirty of the no-net as well if you want to use that by itself again.

Yeah, be handy if I was in the states but i'm in the uk, plus I think i might still end up fight with the pad mid-night.

You could still double hang the no-net and use the pad sleeve like you were talking about. Before you set about cutting a slit in the no-net though try to jus shift it out of the way to get in the Safari as some do when using underquilts with an HH.

Hmmm thought about it but the no net is as long as the safari, maybe it'd work, might have to shorten it slightly, i'll give it a go in the morning to see how it all lies together. What about the A-sym bit, do'ya think it might hang weird?, i'm a bit new to all this.

The body for the HH is rectangular. The only truely asym part is the bugnet.
