Potluck?!.... Kind of new to these hangs. Is there a potluck.

Last year a few of us brought a little extra to cook over the fire and others just pitched in what they had. (fire wood, beer ect) It was all kept low stress and mostly unorganized for the most part, it just seems to work lol. I would be totally game for a potluck repeat but we don't need every person bringing food or we will have way to much and will have to clean it all up. If you want to pitch in, a small bundle of firewood would be great. we can load it in on a sled trip.

Kayt, correct read on my hopeful intent to come. It is a long way to go and with using my weekend pass for Mt R, I didn't help my odds. I've tried to sell a family trip to Portland with a single overnight at Frog Lake on Saturday. Unsure at this time.

Ok my son is coming. Kayt has graciously said she can provide him with an uq however I need one more thing for his hanging. A tarp. If anyone has one he can borrow for the trip that would be great.

I have never been to a hang but I'll be coming mid day Friday. Is there any info I need to know? Parking pass etc.? Suggested gear to bring (besides hammock system)?

Maybe Gary R can update the first post with this info so it's easy to find.
