    KAQ on a JRB Bridge?

I have a KAQ, which is designed for and works well with my HH.

I am intrigued by the JRB BMBH and wonder if anyone has experience fitting a KAQ to this style of hammock.

    Thanks.

I used my KAQ quilt under a DIY bridge hammock a couple of years ago. As I recall it worked just fine.

These days I would suspend it using more normal means. The key thing is that it is wide enough, laid straight. Bridge hammocks are inherently narrower, so any built-in asymmetry the KAQ may have is not so much of an issue.

Thanks Griz. BTW it was your recent videos that got me thinking about bridge hammocks. I'm not much for DIY, but am all over modding them up.

I figured the JRB bridge hammock is as good a place to start as any!

Is the net holding up the Potomac underquilt of your own making?

I bet the KAQ + a CSF pad makes for pretty good insulation.

    Thanks again.

viral videos take on a new meaning!

my own making but not necessarily my own design (in the sense of coming up with the idea of an underbody). schrochem first posted about an underbody that one could raise and lower from inside the hammock.

Oh yeah. That quilt by iteself got me to upper 30's. Put a good pad in there too, and why you're up to Shug and turk terriority!
