    Hammock Gear

I tried my new tarp from Hammock Gear and lost the repair kit. I emailed them for another one. This is the email back to me.

"We'll send one right out to you. Thank you for the great compliments. It made our weekend. Let me know if we can ever do anything else for you. Have a great weekend."

They are sending it free! I in no way expected that. I will continue to pass them on to my friends and buy from them. What service! If you are on the fence, take a look at their gear. Not only is the gear great but the service is great.

Sweet. A lot people forget that we're paying for a good product and good CS is a bonus. This combo is priceless. I'm waiting patiently for my Incubator. Never spoke to Adam and only communicate with him via emails, but he seem to be a stand up guy. Winter Palace camo 12' will be my next order.

I understand that Overgrown. I had to save quarters for mine. I since had to sell my WBBB for funds. My tarp will be one of the last things to go. When you both are ready I sure would check them out. Great gear and they really care about you.

D Ring How satisfied are you with your new HG tarp? I have been looking at their site and the tarp weights caught my attention.

I have only had one chance to use it in the woods but I love it. There is a lot of room inside and it packs small and weighs next to nothing. Less weight helps for me as I am a tad out of shape (lol). It is well made and it looks like a lot of thought went into the design and manufacturing of it.

Did you get the "standard w/doors" or the "winter palace"?

I have the winter palace and some TQ's and UQ's from them, outstanding quality and service! I went winter palace because at around 9 ounces I figured I'd go with the bigger one, and it has been worth every cent. All of my hammock gear gear has been

I certainly have my eye on the winter palace. I'm having panel pulls put on my MamaJamba to accommodate the WB RidgeRunner that I ordered but I need to cut back on my base pack weight. So the first obvious reduction would be a CF tarp for backpacking. I'd keep the MJ for car camping. Do you think HammockGear would add panel pulls for a RidgeRunner setup if requested?

Also, did you get the .50oz or the .75oz CF material? Do they even offer .75?

TheFirePitGuy I have the standard with doors and a 12' ridgeline. I would drop them an email or call and I am sure they can work that out, with the panel pulls. I do not work for them but they are super nice and really want to help us all out if they can. It is my understanding they can get the heavier CF but you add the weight back with that. I may be wrong if so I am sorry.
