    Adding d rings

Just curious if anyone has any insight, or maybe has already found a way to add d rings onto tarp pullouts after market. As you have probably assumed I have a tarp with no d rings that I want to add them onto preferably without cutting the tie outs up in the process

No D rings. If you have the straps and good reinforcements sewed behind them, personally I don't think there is any need for D rings.

I had Wilderness Logics add some to a tarp I ordered. Decided after using the tarp a few time that while they were a nice addition, they were not needed.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !

Larks head a small continuous loop to the D ring then do the same to the tarp pullout.

I wish I had ordered them just to make it easier threading the guylines in the rain when I'm in a bit of a hurry.

And maybe on the ridgeline pullouts because they get tensioned more than the stakeouts.

Thinking about adding stainless split o rings on the ridgeline.

Other than that, I'm good with the pullouts.

Why take them off once they are on? It will probably be less aggravation to just cope with a few tangles.

No need for that either. You just leave the guylines on and carefully wrap up with the tarp. If you use a snake skin or python skin, they really don't get tangled.

True and I probably would but I am using figure 9's and thy would likely get caught up in my mesh snakeskins, which I also love btw.

Well, it looks like I should just try it and find out, beats having the tangled mess in the stuff sack anyway.

I don't know how I hadn't thought of that yet. I might have to give it a try

This is a good point,I suppose they might be more luxury than necessity.
