    HG 20 degree Phoenix

I am starting to stock Hammock Gear quilts. Adam and Jenny have produced some of the finest quilts out there. They built a business on innovation and quality. So I am proud to stock their quilts at www.Dutchwaregear.com.

We now have in stock and ready to ship 20 degree Phoenix 3/4 Under Quilts. They are black on the outside and green on the inside. Filled with 900 fill Hungarian Goose down, these quilts will keep you warm below freezing.

    http://dutchwaregear.com/hammock-gea...-quilt-en.html

It is my pleasure to work with Adam and Jenny to be able to stock these. They are ready to ship out priority USPS.

    Product Description

With 8oz of premium fill goose down, the 20*F Phoenix puts warmth in your back. Versatile protection down to 20* and only 17.50 oz packed.

The Phoenix is the 'little brother' of the Incubator, approximately 3/4 length. It's ideal for people who are pack size and weight conscious and want to shave those few extra ounces without sacrificing much in warmth or comfort. The Phoenix helps you maximize every ounce by using 8 oz of goose down, with 9 differential baffles that run the length of the quilt, which helps keep the down from shifting, providing more warmth. (the baffles make this much warmer than similar quilts using "sewn-through" construction, allowing more loft).

The Phoenix has a tapered cut, which not only reduces weight, but provides a more secure wrap around the hammock, eliminating drafts. This underquilt (or UQ) is 3/4-length, designed to lay from your head down to your knees. Some 'hangers' (hammocking campers) use a small piece of closed-cell-foam pad for under their lower legs and feet, which don't require as much insulation underneath to stay warm. Comes complete with a shock-cord suspension and stuff sack.

I know some people like the custom work they do, but there are some that just want the stock item off the shelf quickly.

    Pulled the trigger

After a blessing from the wife from hearing me using the Walmart pad --- I move around a bit - to get a UG...

Confused I was .... till I saw that Dutch was carrying the Phoenix. It became a no brainer for me. Especially having it in stock.

Dutch, are you planning to get the 40* version? I am not quite ready to pull the trigger, but that is most likely going to be my next investment.

edit: oh, and are you planning to integrate some dutchware into them?

You will like it better than the blue pad of pain.

There is always Dutchware on HG UQs. HG uses my Quilt Hangers.
I would like to get more to stock. Understand stocking quilts is a huge investment. I don't think I can stock his whole line but 40 degree would be a good one to carry...We'll see.

Great to hear of the new additions to the Dutchware line-up. Two powerhouses combined, what could be better....

Will the quilts that you have in stock be made from your Argon fabric or 1.1?
