So if I just set up to the side of the tree or whatever that will help and also wrapping it around e three a few times and I should be set to rock in my hammock even with the Dutch clips and this 1500lbs Polly strapping from diy gear supply?

Experience with your setup and the amount of rocking you do, will eventually let you know what you can get by with. It would be great to add a little common sense into the mix.

These aren't swingsets...there's a reason they use chains.
