Yes there is one a lot closer just off the Tower Ridge Road. Small doesn't hold to many vehicles. It's just past the Tower a short stretch on the N side of the road. If it's full, you can still park along the road, but keep it on one side only.
I'm planning on doing a bit of looping Thurs and Friday, before the "Hang," and the fire tower works out better for me on re-supply.

I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."

I've got a full weekend but there is a good chance I'll be there for Sat night. I need a HH fix. Maybe even +1 and dog but I don't want to freeze them.
Heading out now. Couple stops on the way down. See everyone in the Deam.

Sorry,,but the signs say,,no parking along sides of the road thru Chas Deam Wilderness. I wouldn't want to get caught parking on the side of the gravel road myself.
