Does Permethrine Spray Mess Up Down?

Quick question (for once). Can our down quilts made with super-light DWR sil nylon be doused with the miracle spray for a fast and easy bug shield? Or does it soak into and ruin the down water repellant coating? The fabric in question is Impetus 1.0, which I believe is similar to the Momentum fabrics.

    Thanks,

    TCB

Yes it can. Spray on a light mist and let dry completely. I've not had it effect fabric at all - even the high tech stuff or down. Mist won't soak thru - if you spray it on heavily, it might, in which case let it dry really well before using and fluff it up.
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."
