I'd be 4.5 oz lighter if I used my tulle bug net - but having ripped it open twice accidentally, I'm sticking with heavier noseeum. I'd be about 2-3oz lighter if I did an attached zipper-less bug net, but I like the versatility of detached.

depends on which setup I use. it's between 39 and 46 oz.

If I take my Proforce Jungle with integrated bugnet and the Tarp Shelter II, it's the 39 oz, if I take my ENO Dbl nest, tarp and bug net, it's the 46oz. And those weights are dependent on my tarp. I've got a Tyvek 12x9 tarp which weighs about 22oz, and the aforementioned Terra Nova Tarp Shelter II which weighs 11oz. it's 8x10.

And I'm back and forth with those.

Yah I tried that tule stuff first time using it rippppp that was irritating to say the least. How much stretch would 1.1oz30D ripstop nylon stretch with my 150lbs do you think?

I'm at 25 ozs. I could drop another 2.5 with my smallest tarp.

Cuben Tarp with doors (11 x 8.5 feet), fully rigged: 10 1/2 oz
    WBBB 1.1 Single, "personalized": 13 3/4 ounces
Suspension (1-5ft tree strap and about 5-6 foot UCR and 1-6 ft tree strap (straps made of 5/8 mule tap) and 5-6 foot UCR with Dutch Whoopie Hooks): 2 3/4 ounces.
3 small pieces of 3/8" closed cell foam for any additional padding on tree straps: 1/2 oz
Stake bag assortment (8 stakes, 4 are 9 inch carbon fiber and 4 are Titanium shepperds hooks, and an assortment of cord): 3 ounce
Total 30 ounces (just under 1.87 pounds or just under 3 pounds).
This is not my lightest set up, but it is the one I use 80% of the time.

    With no tarp:
Diy taffeta hammock, whoopies, rl, straps, toggles, bug net: 29.38oz

With tarp, suspension, and stakes: 53.46oz (minus bug net around 43.46oz)
I may be dumb, but at least I'm ugly!

I've done so much, with so little, for so long, now I can do anything with nothing.

It's not peer pressure, it's just your turn.

My latest summer kit, good down to 50* (so far) = 62 oz (this DOES include all my insulation)

    - DIY HAMMOCK, 1.1 oz ripstop nylon, 83"x54" (7.3 oz)
    - SUSPENSION: tree straps, 10-22'x1/8" amsteel CRL, 4 soft shackles (5.7 oz)
    - DIY TARP, 114"x 65" hex, 1.4 oz silnylon, with 4 tarp lines (7.2 oz)
    - SOCK, 3/4 length, Impetus 1.2 (4.1 oz)
    - SLEEPING BAG LINER, Sea to Summit Reactor Plus (8.9 oz)
    - DOWN JCP UQ (21 oz) *doubles as single/double-layer down vest
    - BUG NET (4.5 oz)
    - BISHOP ORGANIZER (1.1 oz)
    - STAKES, aluminum, 4 (2 oz)

Areas to improve on (with estimate weight change):

    1. change CLR to 7/64" diameter (save 1.5 oz)

    2. replace tarp, 3/4 sock, and bug net to full-length Dirigible clone, using Impetus 1.2 & 1.1, with sewn-in bugnet panels. (save 6 oz)

    3. add down TQ for extended temp range (add 10 oz)
