I'm guessing you are going to use a water proof down under quilt?
Since I retired, some times I stay awake all day, some times all night.

I'm thinking wool. I just don't think down would function in those conditions.

I don't know, down seems to work for the geese and ducks. I've never seen one hop out of the water wearing merino? Now Polar Bear fur would really do the job but they don't like being shaved (too self-conscious) , if you try sheep shearing techniques on them you, better be real good a wrestling!

No no, just shaving him down, we'd never hurt Shnookums.

Nice, with those skills you may should be included on the international interplanetary exploration and diplomacy team. But for the trip you may want to implement a diy gravity substitution strapping. I'm sure Dutch would be more than happy to manufacture some $200K titanium attachments and quick release buckles. Designing Dutch bling for a space mission may score you the team captaincy!

    That is awesome!!

So far this is as close to the water as I have hung. Let me tell you it was fun to hang in such a cool tree OVER the water while the rest of the family sweated it out in the house boat. But man that first step in the morning?! That's a cold one.
