Thanks for the compliment, it means alot coming from someone with your experience. I slept under the quilt last night and it fit great. It was wide enough to drape nicely over me laying on my back or on my side and is just long enough so I could stretch all the way out and still be able to pull it up under my chin and cover my shoulders. The Argon fabric feels great next to the skin and I think it worked really well with the 2.5oz Apex, I stayed comfortable all night. (couldn't get out in the hammock last night but since the wife and kids are away for the weekend I dropped the AC to 60 and turned the ceiling fan on high)

Great job on the TQ. Always wondered about that Apex insulation..May have to make a late spring/early fall TQ out of that stuff sometime.

Yeah I was a little supprised when I first got it in the mail, it doesn't look like anything special, but it definitely out performs cheaper synthetic insulation.

nope no quilting needed, just sew it down on the sides and you're good to go

What did you set your stitch length to? I'm having issues getting this dialed in right. The Argon is so light.

I am trying 6 and even with a walking foot am getting puckers.
