So I live in a town home.

Back yards is 24 feet in length .and about 15 feet wide.

in order to avoid have two poles in the middle of the backyard, i'm thinking about doing them across the length of the yard - bisecting it. I'm sure the dog won't mind.

Hope to get to work tomorrow night.

One thought . . . could i just put the Eye-Bolt directly into the side of the house? It's that hardiplank stuff.

    eyebolts

Think cornerboards...you need to get into solid framing. Make sure your eyebolts are long enough to go all the way through the siding and the sheathing. Wood frame right? The corner is apt to be the strongest part of the structure you can tie in to.
