    Monsoon Coffee

Just a note about our weekend on the Mogollon Rim. Woke up to a misty sunrise. Enjoyed an awesome cup of camp coffee on the edge.

    Coffee: Kona Blend
Stove: Trangia alcohol burner with Canteen Shop's titanium stove and canteen cup.
Brewed in Nalgene bottle with GSI infuser.

We use the bottle/infuser opposite of the instructions. Put the course ground coffee in first. Then add the infuser. Add hot water, allow to brew 5 minutes. The coffe is strained out as you pour, leaving the grinds in the bottle. This allows the coffee (or tea) more expansion and yields a richer brew.
