    Smile Trip report Iceland (video)

Please find hereafter a trip report of a hike in Iceland. No trees, no hammock; but a stunning country to hike.

That was excellent! Would never have thought to use Ave Maria in a trip report but it worked quite well. Thanks for sharing.

Stunning, great job on the vid Philly

Iceland has been high up on my tick list for years, one day I will get there.

Loved the greens and blacks, the geyser, the mountains, the crunchy lava and the english weather

The Trailstar looked good against the black lava, is that the cuben one you have? I have the grey sil version and it's become my no.1 choice for ground dwelling.

Any trouble getting the stakes in?

Shewie, I have also the SilNylon version (olive light green) of the Trailstar. The SilNylon gives a little more pitch options The stakes i used were the Easton 9" stakes. They work very well in Iceland. The ground is like "heavy sand". I needed the full lenght.

I kept waiting and waiting and waiting for a hammock to show up, I am so dissappointed.

Seriously though that is some beautiful country you have there. Very jealous. Great job on the video and thank you for sharing.
