Can't make final TQ Brand decision...help???

been doing the research....i am REASONABLY budget conscience...

Hammock 80%...ground minimally....have NF SERIOUS bag for winter ground

Let the voting begin...about 10 votes for a brand and I am in...

My seemingly final choices in order before you all confuse me are:

    1. Enlightened Equip Rev X 20 degree....Slim/reg??? $210-220 (seems most features, bang for the $)

    2. JRB Hudson River 25-30 degree....on sale $219...(have the Nest UQ for Hennessey...!)

    pushing my budget:

    3. HG burrrow 20 degree....$249....

Any experiences with brand i see pop up less often....

    4. Underground quilts FlightJacket 20 degree...$249 with comparable 800-850 down

    let the voting begin

Burrow for me! I own two 20*, one with sewn, and one snap foot box. I also own 20* Incubator and 0* Phoenix from HG, all top quality, so I'm somewhat biased

I've not had #1, 2, or a burrow, but I have an Incubator and I love it. That being said, I've had a flight jacket and it was awesome! When I buy another winter TQ it will most likely be a Flight Jacket.

I don't think you would go wrong with any of those though.

We offer both DWR 850 GGD and DWR 700 GDD, the 700 is actually some pretty good stuff and the colder the quilt rating the more $$$ stays in your pocket.

All our quilts are available in a 15d rip stopped DWR fabric at no additional charge...

hmmm tough choice. I've had TQ's from the first 3 on your list. all will get the job done. i mostly have Hammock Gear Top quilts (20,30, 40*). but also have a RevX 0*. just today I purchase another EE top quilt.

I think the fact you want to use it on the ground as well will give the edge to the Rev X. they have a well thought out system for pad attachment. have fun choosing.

After doing much research, I have decided to fork over a little extra money when I can save it all up for a burrow/incubator combo. The weight, temp, design, etc all seemed to be the best option to me. But that's just me.
I may be dumb, but at least I'm ugly!

I've done so much, with so little, for so long, now I can do anything with nothing.

It's not peer pressure, it's just your turn.

Notice the DWR in the down used. Pretty neat stuff giving you an extra layer of protection against moisture. Which is very bad for down.

And, I'm biased. I met Paul at the Third Annual Florida Hang where he was kind enough to bring some products and answer constant questions. Oh, the questions.....

The 20* Flightjacket is on my wishlist.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

Due to time constraints, I went with a 0` Burrow with snap footbox. Adam custom made it to fit me & it arrived in 4 days. Could not be happier.
