I was looking at my remnants collection and decided that I needed something to put under the hammock to keep my shoes/boots/sock feet off the ground.
I had a part of an old Eureka tent fly that looked like it would do.
Hemmed a disk and sewed paracord around the edge, with loops.
The cord helps to weight down the edge to keep it from flopping over in the breeze, when used as a ground tarp, and the loops allow clipping up to a biner to make a sack for boots, etc.
For the weight-conscious, wt=3 oz. Using silnylon and Zing-it would halve the weight, I'd guess.
