I made the fronkey bug net out of tulle. Cost less than $5. Very light but very fragile. After a few uses I somehow poked a hole in it...how I don't know. Maybe I snagged it on something. Anyway, I discovered I did not like the bottom entry. I flipped it upside down and modified it to a TED. That worked great until I did the stupid thing...I didn't spread my hammock and I fell through my underquilt. Not only did I feel stupid, but I also fell through the tulle bugnet. So I used it as a FUG (full) instead of a HUG (half). Worked well, easy in and out. Now I'm going to modify the tulle to make a HUG. Ha! what an adventure in making a bug net. I'm getting my money's worth out of that tulle.
I'm using it on a DIY Ghost. Any tips on making a HUG for it?
