Woah! Dutch with no hair! I saw the BridgeSkin at Mt. Rogers, not in action though, and it looked pretty cool.

It's better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Formerly known as Acercanto, my trail name is MacGuyver to some, and Pucker Factor to others.

It's not procrastinating, its proactively delaying the implementation of the energy-intensive phase of the project until the enthusiasm factor is at its maximum effectiveness. - Randy Glasbergen

That was filmed just 6 months ago. I can grow hair on demand and suck it right back in my head. My intentions were to show off the bridgeskin but I was too cold.

    Sorry I missed it...

I should have gone around poking my nose into people's business more at Mt Rogers!

Last time i saw that thing it was strung out on your floor in pieces! So nice to see the final product That thing is really, really, really cool I wonder how many hours that took you to make? If reproducing it in mass quantities would even be realistic?

I would love to try my hand at making one... I'd need some idea of how it's put together, though. And what it's made of...

But as to packing in the rain, what about making a large stuff sack to put in the bag and packing that, then wrapping the bridge skin around the stuff sack?

(Ok, I watched Shug's video, it looks like you're more or less doing that already...)

But how does it fold up? If I knew that I could probably try to reverse-engineer one...

I'm almost done with finals, I'll need something to think about!
