    Neat sheet Review

    Temperature: 66 degrees
Wind: Gusting from 17 to 24 mph

I hung my new Travel hammcok Ultralight in a north/south direction with no underquilt or top quilt. I became chilled very quickly.

Took out the Neat sheet and placed it inside the hammock between my body and the hammock. I had zero chill from underneath (except at the highest wind gusts).

I think the neatsheet is a perfect option for those spring/summer nights - it cut all the chill from underneath.

I just saw some of this at the hardware store today where I was getting O rings for my tarp tensioners. It looked really interesting. I really want to find a good summer alternative and get rid of my thermarest. I may have to buy one to test it as well. Thanks for the feedback.

    I forgot to mention:

I had no tarp set up and I was hanging in the open about 2-3 feet off of the ground.

I am - I have two of them.

I think for Texas this time of the year I can bring the Neat Sheet and an UQ just.

I can use the UQ either as a TQ or UQ, same with the neat sheet.

    Pretty cool stuff.

btw - just bought a wheelset

Went out today to take a look at a Neat Sheet but couldn't find them. Lowe's had something called a Soft tarp, water proof on one side and soft cloth on the other. Is this similar to the NS?

    Show and tell

If it's cool and you use it, bring it!

Or if it's cool and you no longer need it, bring it!

In fact, a local hang could be a "show and tell" / "swap meet" if it would work out logistically.

I may be able to get some neat sheets for about $5 apiece. Not sure if they are still available. If you are interested let me know by PM and I'll check it out later in the week. Obviously shipping would need to be added.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.
