once around should be enough, i've never slipped that way. the webbing might slip if you don't tie a backup knot behind them though.

A backup knot is always a good idea when hanging with buckles. I know they say the cinch buckles don't need them but I suspect I'd throw one on anyway if I used them. I scared the night lights out of some colleagues when they heard my webbing slip. I ended up on the ground but they were spooked worse than me. hehehe
