    Should I be concerned...

I've looked for pictures of used whoopies to compare mine to but I haven't had much luck. I know this is a repeat so I'm sorry. I just want to make sure I don't get 15 miles into the woods somewhere and have a problem. I also don't want to bring spare suspension.

Does this look like normal wear and if so, how much life do I have left in them?

They look fine...I have some that look much worse. When I finally retire them, I should send them to LostInSpace for destructive testing. My guess is, they will still be usable.

Agreed, mine look a bit worse than that, but I have no issues as of now. Mine have been used irregularly for 2 years, and stored out of the sunlight. I think this is just what they start to look like after some use. I could be wrong though, I'm just telling you from my limited experience.

I assume you're asking about the "displaced" strands where the adjustable bury exits the constrictor. This if perfectly normal and cannot be avoided.

The orange tends to lose its color more than the other colors. Mine orange whoopies look about the same. No issues.

An extra whoopie sling is something you should consider bringing. I know it's not possible to bring back ups of everything but and extra sling is small, very light and extra cordage is a good thing to have in any outdoor situation. I also agree that your slings look ok to use. Keep an eye on the integrity of the strands themselves.

Thanks everyone! I'll press on with these then and probably bring some extra Amsteel just in case.

That is exactly how mine end up looking after being used a bit. Still using them with no worries.
I may be dumb, but at least I'm ugly!

I've done so much, with so little, for so long, now I can do anything with nothing.
