    Hello from Denver

I am finally getting back into solo trips now that my wife won't kill me for leaving here alone with three little ones. I am already picking up a lot of information from the threads here and hope to contribute something useful.

Thanks Nighthauk, I have already been making a list this morning on things to make and trips to go on.

    2eez4life,
I am originally from Chicago and 99.9% of my hammock experience if from that area, but I have been out in Pike National Forest a few times so far. I am working on planing a trip for the first weekend in Oct and am just now researching locations that would be suitable for getting in late fri and heading home Sun. I will post a trip report if it ends up being worth it.

Hello and welcome to the forums from Indiana.
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."
