    My DIY stuff

So I'm a new member and have been lurking for a while, gleaning info from everyone here. So much cool stuff on this forum. This forum got me motivated to get a hand me down thread injector and learn to sew. Lol, its pretty funny being the only guy in the fabric stores! So here are a few pics of my DIY projects, thought I'd share so you all could see what you've motivated me to do! First pic is my wife's hammock with Fronkey style bugnet, 2cd pic shows my DIY underquilt, and 3rd pic is my hammock with footbox and zippered bugnet.

Nice job on the DIY projects. I think my goal for this winter is to learn how to use my wife's thread injector and start making some cool gear.

I take it your wife is in there somewhere in your pictures? (unless you wear toe-nail polish in the second pix...)

As a fellow "lurking" newbie, I too have made some killer gear from the resources on this site. I'll post some when I get a chance.

Great work on your DIY stuff Boulder, it looks professional. The digi-camo hammock does it for me.
Woke up this morning, and I had those Walking Blues....

Lol, I don't wear nail polish! I think TQs are next for me and the wife. I'm ready to start working with some nice materials instead of bargain bin stuff.

    Nice Work!

Isn't it great to take a pile of fabric, etc. and turn it into your own gear? Keep it up and keep showing us your gear!
