AAAAAAHHHHHHHH! Got to try the peach cobbler tomorrow after I run to the store for everything. You answered all my questions on how many esbit tabs,,how long the burn,,and so on,,GOT TO TRY THIS!!!! Awesome video again,,and you sure do have a great selection of backup music on all your videos,,what a selection as you are a master of dubbing the music! Love it! Just got a new box of esbit tabs today also so going to do a burn later this evening myself and bake using esbit again. always envious as we just don't have the country like you and Poof have to hike in,,very envious.

the wife is asking you to do using Betty Crocker Pizza Crust Mix (just add water) do a pizza next time? Pizza cup? what we going to use? Deyhdrated meats, cheeze, mushrooms, etc? Hummm,,have to think about this one myself.

I also may have to find a cup that fits in my small pot, may just have to cut one down to size???

    You should be a salesman.....[/QUOTE]
Yoda I bet you can cut one down or contact Batchstovez, he might do it for you.

Brought out the DSLR I see. Too cloudy for astro shots? I did like the light painting.
And the last shot of the rock & trees with the light - I was looking for the elves. Well done.
NO DSLR, too heavy! Took a Nex. Did astrology Thursday night:

    MM,

Thanks for taking us along. It looks as if the envelope that you're pushing with your baking is really catching some attention.

I could smell the forest from here......so nice.
Of course I wept just a wee bit at the cobbler. Oh Ghaaaa.
I have a small Batch Stove but it has never been toted by me yet.
Perhaps I may try a mini pineapple upside down cake in the woods sometime. You are planting the Betty Crocker bug in many of us.
Good to see you and Poof out again.

Yes MedicineMan we did 14 miles in two days, camped on top of the mountain at Calloway Gap. Started at Boone Fork parking area and went from there. "The Chute" was killer. More like rock climbing. Ladders were a help.

Once I get my skills up on this GoPro 3 Cam I would like to post some videos like you do. Thanks.
    Straight out of Clayton.

Most physical hike: Grandfather Mountain, NC. Aug 13.

I don't need to make my pack lighter. I need to make my (_*_) lighter.

Glad to see Lady Poof and yourself on the trail. Have 'ber's trees thawed yet?

The word is Big South Fork III will be the weekend after Veterans Day, NOV 15-17. Who will be the host this year? I've started my busy season with the Cub Scouts - I plan to attend but can't do the details.

' mini pineapple upside down cake ' uh that would be a heck yes! Thanks for the idea Shug.
Tacoma--don't worry about the skills on the video just post it...then again I don't know if I want to relive that Grandfather hike or not, I was sore for many days after.
NOV 15-17, got in in blood on the Calender..looking forward to it.
Wisenber's trees. I felt a wave of melancholy....and remembered Spam saving the morn. I even pointed out to Poof where I buried my water bottles for liquid in the morning.
Thanks Grapenut, means a lot. Look at those dates for BSF and make it happen. They know I'm going so the miles wont be big or hard-nothing like HNO,Wisenber,Roche do in the Smokies.

Great trip report and loved the dry baking.

Trail-designs custom cones look great. I watched your video yesterday just after you uploaded onto you-tube. I was thinking at the time, I wonder if this will have any dry baking included, not only it had dry baking I was also mentioned. a nice surprise, I'm glad your enjoying the dry baking, I can't see who would not enjoy the proceeds, I'm surprised more are not taking advantage of this cooking system.

I'll see if I can convert another hammocker over to dry baking in a couple weekends from now, I shall be treating him with cakes and muffins.
