First class eh? Perfect since that describes my goal of this hammock camping thing bud.
Bet it would be comfortable. Can't imagine the fun of trying to find a tarp that fits though...or setting them up.
Looks like whatever the choice an attached skeeter net is going to be key. Moto camping generally means warmer weather and warmer weather means bugs. Last week my son and I went up to the Kern Plateau (7500'), the Hornets were thick and so were the skeeters. Normally not a big problem but it is so dry up there that all campfires are banned...no smoke to drive them away and so cold the hammocks were the only way to stay warm/safe. Hit the sack at 20:00 and up at 08:30. Felt like a big ol' juicy bug target.
All of our hammocks are 11' long. Allows for a much more comfortable lay, imo.

The only con to 11 foot hammocks is tarps. I have an 11 foot tarp and it has to be pitched just right for my suspension drip rings (Dutch Biners) to stay under the tarp. I don't like 12 foot tarps because they have to be pitched higher than I like to avoid hitting the suspension. Unless you have really long sides on your tarp you have no protection underneath from wind blown rain on the sides if you go with a 12 footer.
I have an AHE Toxaway 12' X 10'7" & 9'4" and find it works well...YMMV. Thinking of having 2QZQ do a sew on set of doors for it. Seems everything has some sort of trade off loss to benefit ratio. While my 10' WBBB works, I just want (almost said need ) a smidge more room and so dealing with the tarp etc is something I will need to adjust to.
I just got an 11ft. bias hammock. Do I need a bug net especially made for 11 Ft. Hammocks?
You don't necessarily "have to" but it'll work better. If you stretch the hammock out longer on an 11 footer with a net made for a shorter hammock it won't reach out past your gathered ends to your suspension. Not a good thing if it's a Velcro closure for the suspension to pass through because if your hammock material rubs on the hook Velcro it will tear it up and get all fuzzy.
Here's a link to the bugnet my wife made for my 11' hammock. She made it from curtain shears and used material cut from the shears to make a short extension on each end to cover the ends.

There's no excuse for laziness...
but, if you find one, let me know.
I used my 11' Darien UL and 11' Hammock Gear cuben tarp this past summer on my Long Trail thru hike. It rain every night for two weeks straight.
There just was not enough coverage of the tarp over the ends of the hammock. More often than not, water ran down the suspension and down my back. I was very diligent about drip lines and dividing up the coverage on the ends over the hammock.
That my experience and this is the reality. IMHO, an 11' hammock needs a 12' tarp.
