    New guy from Germany

    Hello,

as i´m reading for some months i thought i have to finally join this outstanding forum. Its a pleasure to see the tons of knowledge put together and the enthusiasm for nature and hiking. The hammock was a still partner a long time in my rucksack only used to take a nap between some routes when i was rock climbing. To use it like my tent was never a option. But then the misses wanted a bigger tarp for our tent and so thanks to the www i could get a glimpse of the world of hammocking.
So now I´m a owner of a dd frontline hammock and I love it. At moment I think its one of the best ways to stay outside and to squeeze out the most comfort from the least weight.

So greetings from good old germany and a nice autumn in the piney woods

    Greetings from Troutdale, OR

Nice to see you on the forums.. I was born in Munich and can't wait to get back over to Germany. I was over there last in 2004. Next time back I am planning on doing some backpacking.
    Once again, welcome!

Hello Crossi and welcome to the forums!
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."

    Thanks for your warm welcome.

@2eez4life At the moment the autumn had not really started. But i´m looking forward for the next weekend then we are going to get our ferry to sardinia. And I hope they got some trees left. Then pictures will follow. :-)
