Unfortunately I struggled across the balds this past October in what the weather people called gale force winds. By the time I reached Carvers it was just a mild breeze.

I was hoping Hickery.
FirePitGuy and I are headed up to Carvers later this morning for a first hand eyes on the gound. We'll report back this afternoon for those interested. Matters not I know but we can see what's there before what's coming (or not) lands on top.
