I got this fabric on the fs section here (thanks xtrekker). It's 1.1 ripstop. I cut it down to 10.5'x54". 5.60oz with the dynaglide ucr's. it's pretty comfy as well.

Nice, that is a LIGHT hammock!
Are those dimensions before or after hemming/channels?
I'm curious, how tall you are and do you find it to be as comfortable as longer/wider hammocks?
I actually didn't do a sewn channel on this one. I just did a rolled hem all the way around and attached the ucrs.
I'm right at 6'. The hammock is actually pretty comfortable, but I wouldn't make it much smaller than this....I think it's pushing the limit for me.

I had one out of suit lining material once that was close to that weight. Scared me every time I climbed into it. But it will cut that pack load.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.
