Just do a visual comparison between the ENO Vulcan Hammock Underquilt @ Rei 174.95
and Hammocks Gears Incubator. just bought for 235.00. And remember Eno's Ember, who's basic design looked flawed, but it was put on the market. As yet they do not have a proven product comparable to other venders underquilts found on these forums.
IT looks more then 60 dollars cheaper, considering one is 950 down and one is synthetic.
It was quickly eliminated as a choice when deciding to get a underquilt.

Neither of the quilts Derek reviewed was a Vulcan When a manufacturer does not provide a product to reviewer to review, its usually because they know what a reviewer might say and they know its not good. These other quilts, however, appear to be at least serviceable. There's no mention of price, so that comparison cannot be made. Has anybody seen them for sale or does Derek have some advance examples?

If you're looking for a synthetic, 30*F full length underquilt, check out The New River at Arrowhead Equipment

Not only is it cheaper, but his products are well reviewed on this site, and he is a forum member. Be sure to look into the upgrades, if you're interested.

If you don't need a full length, try the Jarbirdge, it's a 3/4 length and only $100.
