Here are a few pics of my recently-completed tarp. I followed the plans posted by Scott at the DIY Gear Supply website.

I also purchased all the materials from DIYGearSupply - excellent service to Canada with honest shipping costs.
30d Silnylon seconds.
Seams (ridge and pullout reinforcements) sealed with Permatex Windshield sealant
There are lots of pitching options, which I like.
Pitched tight to the ground, you'd have about 42" height at the ridge if the tarp was set to maximize the width at the closed doors. If the ends were 'pulled out' and the tarp pitched narrower, you'd have more headroom.
Tarp and guys (ridgeline + 4 main side guys) pack into a stuffsac which could be as small as 6" diameter x 10" long. I made the sac over-long.
Total weight in the sac is 28 oz.
