Oh Fall is upon us and I want to smash out some backpacking trips this season. I wanted to do this trip earlier but because of other events I am attending as well as some family functions I had to push this date back quite a few weeks. This hike is short in distance but still has some challenges and one may one to do alittle research before committing to it. It will be stretched over 3 days 2 nights so the effort involved in this hike is going to be minimal compared to a single day hike of the trail. The campsite locations are still undetermined at this point and I may just keep it that way to allow for a more flexible trip for everybody. We also have to be conscious of the head count. These hike-n-hangs can grow in size rather quickly so may have to post a cut-off at one point to avoid problems with violating any GWNF rules.
I would just like to add that I have never hiked this trail and have very little knowledge of it other than what the site has provided in the description. It will be a first time for me as well. And Yoda can vouch that I am just as prone to getting lost as anybody else. lol...Bring a map and a compass. They came in quite handy on the last Hike-n-Hang when we found ourselves bushwhacking.
Can't wait to go and I look forward to seeing yall...Should be a blast...Someone bring some white-lighting and a some good stories for the campfire...
