Video: A bald, a bear & a beautiful view (Max Patch / Mt Cammerer)

I did an overnight trip this past weekend along the NC/TN border, up to Max Patch, then a hike up Mt. Cammerer Lookout tower in GSMNP.

Along the way I found a bear story & an actual bear.

Thanks for taking us along. Your shadow legs sure looked tall in the first part of the video.

    Straight out of Clayton.

Most physical hike: Grandfather Mountain, NC. Aug 13.

I don't need to make my pack lighter. I need to make my (_*_) lighter.

Well I would be jealous of how close you live but then I see people coming from Michigan and think 3.5 hours isn't so bad.

To be honest, I was thinking of a little nap in the shelter, but got a little skiddish being by myself & all the signs. Glad you enjoyed the moon - you should have seen the stars after the moon went down. Fantastic.
