I put a small rip, maybe 1/4" long, in one of my cuben stuff sacks. Will duct tape work well enough to fix it?
If not, does anyone have a tiny bit of cuben repair tape you'd be willing to sell me?

Duct tape works extremely well on cuben, gorilla tape even better. Although I will say the cost of the tape from Z-Packs is pretty cheap- http://www.zpacks.com/accessories/tape.shtml
While I have used duct and gorilla tape in the past on my cuben, the issues I ran into removing it to apply a better looking and lighter cuben tape patch were enough for me to never put it on my cuben again, unless I absolutely have no other choice!

It's always best if your an early riser!
Lowes and others even carry clear duc tape..I carry it wrapped around a straw,,about 6-7' of it rolled for a repair kit ration. Works fantastic on cuben.
perfect. I already have some clear duct tape. I just wanted to make sure it would work.
Like Yoda said, the ZPacks cuben tape is cheap and better for your purpose.
I'll probably pick up some of that as well for my tarp for those "oops" moments. Since it's just a small stuff sack that I need to repair, I'm not too concerned about using the duct tape.
I also carry Zpacks cuben tape for repair as well,,it works so easy and perfect..and its permanent. to me the duc tape is a temp repair to get me back home to make the permanent repair with cuben tape later on.
Yeah, I'm going to pick up some of the cuben repair tape for sure. I'm actually surprised that the HG Cuben tarp didn't come with a small repair kit.
