I'm curious to see what Knots others are using.
What knots?
Where?
Why?
I.E.
What Knots = Larks Head
Where = Securing Travel Hammock to cinch buckle
Why = Easy knot that keep the cinch buckle tight without sliding to one side.
Thanks - C

Clove Hitch tie outs to stakes.
Bowline - run guy line through grommet or loops on tarps or tents then back through a bowline on the end of the line - (same effect as larks head) - then tie running end to stakes.
Slippery half hitch to keep excess webbing from sliding through ring buckles.
4 wrap tension knot, Speer style to suspend some hammocks to trees
Taught line hitch sometimes on guy lines

excellent site.
Personal favorite of mine since scouting days has and will always be the Taut line-guys lines. Slippery 8 is becoming a favorite one also-ridgeline on tarp.
They have names?
I guess I use; Ted, Shirley, George, Debbie, & Billy.
Seriously: Bowline, the occasional hitch, & larks head. That's really about it. I'll tie a monkey fist sometimes when I'm bored, but it's usually just to throw at someone.
Trust nobody!
Just a reminder about a great knot site: Grog's
