Had a great time this weekend, thanks Knotty & JG for all of your work in setting it up. The food was super (so much!!), and I actually enjoyed how the rain forced us to mix it up a bit (and seek out the last of the remaining red..)
There are some very cool and interesting people among us, glad I had the opportunity to come out and meet you and I hope to do it again soon!
I had such a great time! I took quite a few pics and they will be coming, but I've got to find the time (probably tomorrow night )
Great to see old friends and meet some new ones. Great food, great people, great location...just what the hammock doctor ordered!
Had a great time. Friday after setting up it didn't take long for everyone to make me feel welcome. I hope no one had a problem with all my questions about their equipment. Saturday AM we went on a Ten mile hike to burn off the big breakfast we put together and to make room for the bigger dinner afterwards. The evening was perfect, even the rain held off until the festivities was about over.
I did manage to leave behind a camp stool (Camo) I hope someone grabbed it for me. When I got home I mentioned to Santa (My Wife Mary) I need to add a Z Pack and a Cuben Tarp to my Xmas list. She said I'll be lucky to get a new camp stool.
Thank for making the ride worth it
