    Hiking in Switzerland

    Hi to All,

Yesterday I was out for some gear testing (UQ 40 and TQ 20 by UGQ), a trangia 27-1 set and my new DH DB 11' 72''(named big grey bird). After some stealthy camping, I
moved to a camping side at Walensee/ Glaris. I had to talk to so many people!!! Hammock camping is nearly unknown in Switzerland. And there were questions over questions. UQ worked nice, but temperature at night was about 38F combined with some winds. I was really glad for some extra heat by the over cover. OMW by WL cut down the wind primarily, second barrier was over cover. It was a little cold, but worked perfect under this conditions.Tomorrow my HG Inc 20* will arrive and a 0* UQ and TQ has been ordered. So let's start some camping...

Looks good, P! You are the hammock ambassador to ever-neutral Switzerland!

    Mountains have a dreamy way
Of folding up a noisy day
In quiet covers, cool and gray.

Surely, God could have made a better way to sleep.

    Surely, God never did.

Just hoping that Womble at Geneva will help in western Switzerland.
