    DIY Gear Supply

    Any of you guys ever buy from DIY? I've been trying all day to place an order to make a couple of hammocks and a tarp, finally got the cart correct only to find it wouldn't take either Visa card I had. It took forever and a day for the website to change pages. Finally had to give up. Is it just me?

    DIY Gear Supply

    I've never had problems like that and have ordered from them several times. I would rate their site and service as first class. May just be a temporary glitch.

    Give them a telephone call. Both my daughter and I have ordered from them and been very pleased with the quality and speediness of the shipping. Are they on vacation?

    I would call them.

    I couldn't find a phone number on the site, I did ask in an E-mail if I could order by phone, don't have a reply yet, they're down for the day I'm sure. I've got a sewing machine now and I'm aintsy to start making stitches. The last time I sewed was on a Singer foot powered beauty...did the job tho.

    I've placed half a dozen orders with DIY Gear Supply this year. Service has been speedy. No problems with the website and online ordering.

    +1 to trying a different browser!

    I had the same problem because I was using IE with the cookies limited, paypal won't work, visa won't work, most shopping carts won't work.

    I browse and make up my shopping list with my usual browser and go to Firefox when I want to place an order.

    Email address for him is [email protected] if all else fails.

    BTW, Scott works a full-time job in addition to running DIY, if I remember correctly it's sometimes shift work...and still manages to get the orders out pronto!
