1.1 Single with line. I'm a lightweight (129# when fat). Line is what I'm happy with. Bit of a weight savings initially over the web/ring. By the time I add the JRB strap set for tree huggers not saving much if any wt over the webbing/ring set up.

Same here, but also got the "lefty" option.

I have since swapped out the stock triangles with SMC rings. I find the SMC rings easier to release.

I have a double 1.7 on order. Got the webbing suspension. Also ordered a Superfly and I hear it's coming with a cool modification. Yay, can't wait to start hangin'.

I thought you were a bridge guy? You have come over to the BB cult?

Both of mine are custom, so no idea on the fabric weight. I know the second one is much, much lighter than the first. But both are double layer, and both are camo. Tree straps for both. Love the treestrap setup.

Straps and a left foot box are almost a must for me... but I'd never thought of combining the 1.7 top with a 1.1 under. If I wasn't at my heaviest in at least 10 years (195#), I might have gotten away with double 1.1.

Thanks everyone that's posted so far. It's already been very helpful.

Well I'm going back and forth... I have just put my HHULBA on the market here in Sweden and if all goes well I'll be soon ordering a BB and a MacCat.

Like you, Quoddy, I've got a right shoulder that can't be sleeped on, so I'll get a left foot box. Does anyone know if the whole BB will be mirrored or will only the foot box be moved to the left?

Initially I had the 1.1 single, but found that my weight at 185 was marginal for a flat lay. I now use a 1.1 double with straps and rings and traded my 1.1 single to mikeinfhaz for building a custom quilt for me. I opted for a double 1.1 over a single 1.7 just to have more options for pads in the future.

I initially ordered the tree huggers and rope suspension for my single 1.1, but ended up retrofitting it with the straps and rings after seeing how easy it was to use in Shug's video.

My setup with camp nano biners now comes in around 32oz. I may pick up a traveler or some other lighter solution for trips where I can live without the full Cadillac solution and go more ultralight. Gear addiction never ends, does it?
