    Splicing an "inverted" end?

A couple of years back, I ordered some very neatly spliced guy lines from Whoopieslings. I now got some Lash-It and thought I would make something equally pretty. I have been looking at the straight end of the line (not the one with the loop), but for the life of me, I can't figure out how that was done. At first I thought it was similar to splicing a loop, but without securing it and pulling the line completely into itself. But this looks different. The Whoopieslings guy line looks like the line was pulled back into itself, thereby inverting the line. Not sure if that's understandable. I tried pushing the wire through and out of the very end, and then pulling the line into itself (and inverting it). But that doesn't seem to work. I also couldn't find any pictorials on this. If somebody could point me in the right direction I would be grateful.

You're first thought was correct. Bury the end to make a plain loop, pull the loop closed, pull it farther in if you want the inverted look that's more difficult to pick back out.

^what they said. I just always end up underestimate how long of a bury I need for the backsplice and have to cut some excess off
I may be dumb, but at least I'm ugly!

I've done so much, with so little, for so long, now I can do anything with nothing.

It's not peer pressure, it's just your turn.

Yeah, somehow the length of the cord seems to be shrinking.

When you bury it does seem to get shorter, because it has to expand outwards to make room for the cordage going through it I just always miscalculate how much shorter it will be!
