South Bound is the best direction, every step is one step closer to home

I really do find that traveling south bound on the Georgia sections are a bit easier that going north.
That part of the trail is some of my favorite.

Spoken like a true Georgian. I've heard a lot of people say that SB is easier in Ga. I was hoping to get a better shot of Brasstown Bald than the one I had but when I got to the top of Tray Mtn I couldn't see 20 feet. Thanks for watching.

I have to try and put a laugh in somehow. Everybody I talked to saw either bears or boars all along there. One fellow said he thought he was seeing monkeys when 4 cubs came down out of trees in the fog. He sat down and waited 45 min for them and momma to leave. Thanks for watching.

The only problem with that map is it's hard to fold up. I thought about you but the only waterfall I saw was coming off the brim of my hat. I wasn't too proud of my site selection but the fellow with me wanted to stay in the shelter after the rain started so I stuck close. Thanks for watching Brucie!
