WB superfly vs OES 4 Season

Alright I'm ready to pull the trigger on my first tarp. I am wanting 4 season with doors and I have narrowed it down to WB Superfly or OES 4 Season. I am going to run a CRL and I'm using a ENO SN hammock

    Thanks

Both are well made but the WB Superfly has better doors. There is no cat cut in them and the corners extend longer along the side edges than the OES giving them the abililty to close up completely.

    To throw in another choice...

And then there is Underground Quilt's tarp The Winter Dream in an 11' or 12' ridge line choice. The doors snap closed too. I just bought one and it's pretty awesome.

I was also wondering about the superfly. I like the idea of having doors pre-attached, especially in the winter or in a heavey rain. Never having seen one in person, how much room do you need to set that thing up with? Is it too big? I have a tendancy to over do things like that...so I was wondering if the SF was going to be a 3br ranch style in the country instead of a tarp lol

I have the OES tarp and it is a good solid piece of equipment. I would agree that it doesn't close up as tightly as some others, but for me, that allows for more ventilation here in Oklahoma. I'm looking at the Underground tarp another post mentione. They are all good and all will serve you well

I have used my Superfly extensively over the past few years. I have never run into an issue where it was too big. If you don't have much room to set it up, then just pitch it a little steeper.

I have a SF. Great piece of gear. I would rather have the option of opening the doors a bit than not have the option of closing the doors completely.

    Ginger or Mary Ann?

Either one is a good choice.
