    My First Blind Bury

Read about these, decided to take a shot at it.
I wanted a small knotless loop that would allow me to loop through the panel pull out d ring on my hammock gear Cuben tarp. My intent was to merely loop through the D ring and then pass the tag end of the line through the loop for an easy attachment that could be removed whenever I was in porch mode or not using the panel pullouts.

I have approximately 6 to 8 inches of blind berry and when pulled tight it seems to hold exceptionally well. Super slick, superclean, we easier than I expected thanks to all of the tutorials here on the forum.

Not looking like a first time project to me. You didn't hit up dutch on the sly did you?

    That looks great.

Nope, all me. Now about 90 minutes later I have done 8 x 10' corner/side tie outs and 4 x 12' panel pull tie outs. Oh, and I also redid the continuous ridge line with a microbiner on a super tight blind bury that is tight to the biner. Fun stuff while not able to sleep.

Professional looking job. What kind of cord is that?
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."

That mason line is fun stuff to work with isn't it? I recently made my own first tie outs with it as well and really like it.

Not sure what method you use to attach to your stakes but I've been using this one and really like it: http://andrewskurka.com/2012/tarp-guyline-system/

It works really well with mason line.

Nice job. Just for clarity, that's called an eye splice.

Your definitely a better man if you can splice braided masons line.

Really was easy! Eye splice? Okay.

Maybe I will start making tarp tieoutsets for the PIF exchange.
