    PLUQ Suspension Help

Made the no-sew version with a slight mod in the shock cord suspension. I added 4 adjustable shock cords on each corner. One end of the shock cord attaches to the paracord running through the pluq. The other end goes through an S biner attached to the hammock suspension and back down to a cord lock on 4 tabs that I sewed on each corner of the pluq. Kinda like a "hillbilly" attempt at the LeighLo suspension. Installed on a HH Explorer. I did not use the hammocks's side tie outs. When I got in the hammock and on the asym lie, the pluq would roll to one side of the hammock. I reached around and got it back in place. Later, when I turned in the hammock, it did the same. Pluq ended up completely on one side of the hammock.
Originally, I cinched the shock cord up until the pluq was just up against the bottom of the hammock. I just snugged each end shock cord. Any ideas what I did wrong or will this just happen getting in the hammock of turning in the hammock? Tnx in advance.

I would put mitten hook on the sides to attach to the pull outs even if you don't use them. Also add ridgeline quilt hooks. If you pm me your address I will send you a set for free.

    Appreciate the offer!

    Dutch,
Thank you for your offer. I need to order more stuff from you and I'll add those to my next order. You mentioned the ridgeline quilt hooks. I assume I would add those and just leave the hammock's netting unzipped during use?
    Thank you.

Nope they work better with a bug net on. It keeps the hook in place even better. It will not put wear on your net either.
