    advice

    any advice for keeping your hammockgear incubator over the foot box while sleeping mine kept slipping off this past weekend

    I show how to keep a full length UQ over the BB footbox in this video. Sure there are other solutions as well.

    Tighten the suspension on the head and foot corners and loosen the other two some.

    Thanks Shug and JollyGreen I never would have thought about tightening one side and loosening the other. I tend to keep them symetrical on my ENO. I am still learning the way of the Blackbird....

    I tighten the head left shoulder side and footer right side and still occasionally the incubator slips off. My fix is taking a bit of shock cord and attaching it to the eyelet on the UQ just before the right side footend and connecting it to the ridge line with a s-biner. Works great...

    I loosen the cinch on the footbox and head sides, so the quilt can ride up higher without the cinch pulling it back down toward center. I have underquilts by HG and UGQ and have yet to have either slip off the footbox of my hammock.
