    Vapor barrier in between layers.

What are the guidelines for having something like reflectex in between layers of a hammock?

I realize having a vapor barrier above you is bad, but how do you manage one below?

    Any help would be appreciated

I used reflectix as a pad on a single layer hammock, and it made my back quite damp. I have some fleece to add to it as an experiment, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

a vapor barrier isn't bad anywhere, you just don't want to overheat making excessive condensation. I couldn't help you with the pad, but billybob and fronkey have had some long conversations on the subject which maybe be worthwhile looking for....
