Went up to Joe Indian Island on Cranberry Lake in the adirondacks this weekend for a 4 day 3 night trip.

Got in late Thursday night at dusk I have a 1965 runabout we used for the trip.
This trip was my first with 2 new pieces of gear, my eno vulcan underquilt and the walmart duck down top quilt.
The temps dipped into the high 30's and low 40s at night and I was very warm. I wouldnt hesitate to use the vulcan down to 30 but the duck down top quilt cant go much lower without me adding clothes to sleep (just slept in my thermals).
Fishing sadly was not great but 70's during the day, and of my favorite part: loons were out and about calling all night.

My brother also hammocked with his own DIY gear and my tent friend is slowly converting after a nap or two. All in all an amazing weekend at a great site.
