Whoopie hook all in one suspension

I've have been using this for a while and really like it. It is very simple to make or I can make it for you at the same price as the whoopie hook suspension. The whoopee sling attaches to the hammock with the locked Brummel larks headed tot he hammock. The adjustable loop goes through the one loop of the hugger and there is also a whoopee hook on the adj. loop. Then on the other end of the hugger is a continuous loop. Here is a vid.

Very cool Dutch, I think I'm gonna give it a try. Lousy timing for me though. Last week when I was placing an order with you I kept going back and forth between getting a set of whoopie hooks or dutch biners, the biners won out. Guess I'll have to place another order before the last one even gets here. Hahaha.

Just use the Biners like the whoopie hooks. The whoopie hook is just a biner without the gate.

Thought about that, but I am way too much of a gram weenie to use the biners for that. The biners are for another project that whoopie hooks won't work for.

It means that all of the components are (semi)permanently attached as one. Instead of the huggers being one piece, then the whoopie slings being another piece, they are already attached to each other and the hammock. Less components to keep up with and less time setting up.

I think I understand, but wish there was a dejoha pictoral!

Also, do you have measurements on the whoopie sling, tree strap, and continuous loop?

I've been using this system for a year now, it works great. So simple, light and flexible.

Curious.. if the circumference of the tree is say 3.75 feet (i.e. small enough for there to be excess length, but big enough that an extra wrap won't reach), how do you get the huggers to constrict? Seems like there'd be a V and it'd slip. I suppose you could do as much of the extra wrap as possible and then wrap the hooked portion of the whoopie around to meet the loop. I've actually considered doing this with a Dutch clip and the loop in the same hugger loop, just haven't experimented with it yet.

Also, 6" loops are flattened? Does this mean buries are say 5 3/4" with a section that remains original diameter so whoopie hook can still clip on?
It is a very alert, active sheep, with a stylish, lively carriage.

I use a Juki & Pfaffs w/ assorted attachments, and have serviced lots of vintage machines. Any questions?
